The Ring 9 SoftPhone is a full-featured telephone which provides voice communication over an IP network. It resides on the user’s PC or laptop, and can be accessed when a high speed internet connection is available. Whether traveling or to enhance productivity at home, subscribers can use the Ring 9 Soft Phone to effectively take their extensions along with them, making and receiving calls without carrying extra equipment.
The Ring 9 SoftPhone is easy to use. An intuitive user interface offers unique, one click keys for placing and receiving calls and for the most commonly used features, such as voice mail, redial, transfer, and volume control.
The SoftPhone functions much like a traditional analog phone or an IP phone, allowing the customer to place and receive telephone calls. The phone also supports features such as call forwarding, redialing, transferring calls, conference calls, and access to voice mail. The features can be managed directly via softphone or through the Ring 9 web portal.
We recommend that a headset will be used when talking on a SoftPhone. This will allow for privacy and potentially clearer communication.
